Pete is an accomplished sonographer who brings a wealth of experience and insight to the GXU team. Having completed degrees at both the University of Newcastle and Queensland University of Technology, Pete developed a comprehensive knowledge of both radiography and sonography and ultimately decided to pursue a career as a sonographer. While working in the Hunter region, he, along with fellow sonographer, Troy, decided to go into business themselves, and founded GXU Medical Imaging in 2008. After many rewarding years serving Newcastle and the Hunter region as owner and operator of GXU Medical Imaging, Pete is proud to continue his work as a sonographer to support GXU under the leadership of our local radiologist. Over his 30-year career, Pete has developed extensive experience in all aspects of sonography and has a particular interest in MSK imaging.In his spare time, you’ll find Pete on the golf course, cycling, or getting off the beaten track as he travels across the globe.
