Natalie Moncrieff
Nat is a highly experienced sonographer who takes great pride in helping a range of people by contributing to their health outcomes and overall wellbeing.Originally based in Tamworth, Nat began her sonographer training at Tamworth Base Hospital. While there, she was offered a unique opportunity to volunteer as part of her local rotary club to travel to Gizo in the Solomon Islands. She, along with other volunteers helped build the paediatric ward of Gizo Hospital, and shared valuable knowledge and skills about ultrasound and general health with the local community.
Nat continued her training and became a qualified sonographer in 2003, while working on the Mid North Coast. Eventually, she decided to settle in the Lake Macquarie area, and has worked with GXU for over 10 years.
Nat’s future is now turned toward sonographer training. She looks forward to imparting years of knowledge and experience on to the next generation of sonographers.
Life away from work can get hectic for Nat, being part of a family of five. But, when she finds the time, she enjoys a good book or two, walking with friends, and trying her hand at art.
